Salt New York Deep Sculpt and Bronze Crème Tint ($ 16.00 for 0.15 oz.) Is a deep plum brown with subtle, cool undertones and a natural sheen. The texture was slightly emollient, thin, and more like a traditional cream blush so it was never completely dry and always had some numbness to the finish.
It had a transparent to semi-transparent pigmentation that could be built up with two to three layers up to a medium opacity. The product applied fairly evenly to my skin and spread well with little effort, but I noticed that this shade wasn’t as easy to blend as other shades. After seven hours there were some signs of use.
PS – I’ve had serious, cystic breakouts on my lower cheeks / upper jaw area (by August 2020) that have left a lot of post-acne marks that are finally looking faded (as of February 2021! And these photos were taken in December 2020) , but as a result, I’ve found that some of the brownish tinted products, like this one, don’t look as even at first glance due to my underlying skin imperfections – but as with all of the products I test, I rate based on the timing, too where I test the product, which is usually later when I took the photos for review.

Formula overview
$ 16.00 / 0.15 oz. – $ 106.67 per ounce
The formula is described as “buttery soft, easy to blend” and is said to have a “transparent, buildable coverage with a soft, skin-like finish”. Although it comes in three types – highlighter, contour / bronzer, and blush – the formulas don’t differ dramatically in terms of performance and feel.
It had sheer opacity that could be built up to a medium opacity, but full opacity didn’t really seem within the realm of what it could be as practical. I would recommend sticking to deeper shades, even for those who need or want more coverage, as the lighter shades were less buildable.
As a cheek product, the formula was applied evenly to bare skin and blended well and dabbed over base products as it wasn’t a formula that tended to tighten the complexion. The finish was dewier, although it did seem a little softer after about an hour of wear. Wear lasted between six and seven hours before noticeable fading and / or slight movement / sliding. I had the best feel when applied over a matte foundation compared to bare skin or a dewier / brighter foundation.
