Chanel Douceur et Serenite (378) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra eyeshadow ($ 62.00 for 0.07 oz.) Is a smokier, purple-plum-colored tale that includes two matte hues and two satin-to-pearl hues. There was some variation in depth and finish so I could see lighter and darker looks, although I expect the looks to get a bit smoky overall. All four shades had higher coverage, were mixable and easy to pick up with a dry brush, and they lasted for about eight hours.

Sweetness and Serenity # 1 is a very light, lavender-taupe with cool undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was incredibly smooth and finely ground, but slightly powdery. It had an opaque paint cover that didn’t tend to swerve, which was a happy surprise. It lasted a good eight hours before fading a little.

Sweetness and Serenity # 3 is a light to medium purple with soft, warm undertones and a mother-of-pearl finish. It had rich color coverage with a soft, smooth texture that was finely ground and blended, although I found it looked more like a semi-matte to satin finish when applied and faded out. It took a good eight hours before it faded noticeably.
