He filed documents with the Los Angeles Supreme Court requesting his release as soon as a new lawyer was found.

According to TMZ, Britney, 39, has now contacted a major law firm and hopes to use former federal attorney Mathew Rosengart.

Rosengart has represented a number of Hollywood stars including Ben Affleck, Steven Spielberg, Sean Penn, Eddie Vedder, Soledad O’Brien, Michael Mann and NBA star Jimmy Butler.

It comes as Britney’s longtime manager also stepped down on Tuesday.

In a letter published by the Hollywood news website Deadline, Larry Rudolph, who had represented the singer since the beginning of her career, said he had been made aware that she shared her intention to “officially retire”.

Britney’s life and career have been overseen by her father and others since 2008 under the complex legal framework of conservatories.

Last month, she called for the agreement to be terminated, alleging she was forced to work, and likened it to sex trafficking.

In the ensuing legal battle, Jamie tried to hold Britney’s co-restorer Jodi Montgomery responsible for Britney’s emotional court testimony.

She hit back, claiming she was the only one who wanted to help Britney achieve her goal of freedom and, with the approval of her doctors, come up with a new care plan to eventually close the Conservatory.

She said this was “a goal Mr. Spears may not necessarily share” when she accused him of using $ 2 million of the star’s money to fund his legal battle.

In Jamie’s previous filing, which was also obtained by the point of sale, he alleged that Montogomery or others prevented him from communicating with his daughter.

In addition, she said it was absurd that Britney’s father should suggest making decisions without him because “everything costs money” and all expenses are through him in his role as curator of Britney’s estate.

She added that she was actively working to address Britney’s concerns during her testimony.

Montogomery said she supported the star’s decision to be free from the conservatory but wanted to make sure it was done responsibly with her doctors’ contributions.
